Diego Rivera The Procession IIMoscow Scene signed While Rivera was visiting the Soviet Union in 1927-8, the artist took to sketching everyday life scenes such as this procession of people entering a building during a harsh winter day. Rivera documented much of what he saw in Russia in this manner, including farmers at work, political parades, peasant children in costume, and other typical scenes.
